The chefs at Café Tempo, on the campus of Johnson County Community College, celebrate some of the many cultures of their international student body with these signature dishes. Executive Sous Chef, Marcel des Marteau prepares a Chili-Lime Marinated Chicken on Fresh Corn Tortillas with Pico de Gallo and Avocado, served with Jicama Slaw, Tortilla Chips and Savory Black Bean Dip. Executive Chef Marc McCann prepares a Pan Seared Beef Tenderloin with Shiitake Mushroom Butter, Boiled Red Potatoes, and Blistered Asparagus. Chefs pair their signature dishes with a Mango Lemonade and Fresh Mint.
