This week “In the Kitchen with Bonnie” features the third part of our four-part feature, “Cooking with Kids.” Today one in three children in the United States is overweight or obese. To address this issue in our community, Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics, Whole Foods Market and chefs from “In the Kitchen” have come together to create a four-part feature for our multi-media foodie series.

Our goal is to offer easy, fun, affordable and nutritious meals and snacks for families. We hope to encourage families to cook together and dispel the myth that healthy food is too expensive and time-consuming. Sarah Peters (Children’s Mercy Hospitals & Clinics), Jennifer Matascik (Whole Foods Market), Executive Chef Charles d’Ablaing (The Webster House) join Bonnie “In the Kitchen” for the third broadcast “What to Have for Snacks?”
