The Hamburger

Please use the icons to navigate through the webisode productions.
The origin of the hamburger is not very clear, but the prevailing version is that at the end of 1800' s, European emigrants reached America on the ships of the Hamburg Lines and were served meat patties quickly cooked on the grill and placed between two pieces of bread. When you look into the history of hamburgers in the U.S., you'll find sources proclaiming the inventor to be Louis Lassen (Connecticut), "Hamburger Charlie" Nagreen (Wisconsin), and the Menches Brothers (Ohio).

We appreciate all the passion devoted to the hamburger…And are pleased to take you “In the Kitchen” at BRGR Kitchen + Bar to learn how restaurateur Alan Gaylin and Chef Lindsey Hintz contribute to the enjoyment of this American classic.
